Course Description

Whether you are a full-time project manager or have 3-5 years of relevant work experience, JMU's Project Management Certificate provides the 35 hours of training required to sit for the PMP® certification exam. Our intensive program was designed for professionals who want to distinguish themselves and validate their project management expertise by obtaining their PMP® certification through the prestigious Project Management Institute.

Prerequisites

There are no admission requirements to take this class. High-speed internet connection on your own device is required when taking the online course. We recommend non-native English speakers have a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of at least 250 on the computer-based exam, or 100 on the internet-based exam.

Section Notes

In order to successfully complete the course and earn the certificate, students must attend all instructor-led class sessions and complete all assignments by the due date(s). Instructor-led online sessions. You will receive an orientation email approximately 4-5 days prior to class start date, and textbooks ship out the Friday before class starts. Late registrations should expect textbooks delivered 7-10 days after registration date. 

Withdrawal/Refund Policy: You may cancel your registration up to two weeks prior to the program start date and receive a refund of course registration fees, less a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations and refunds after the two week deadline are processed at the discretion of the department. To withdraw from this course you must send a request in writing to cpdtraining@jmu.edu or by mail. For more information, please visit Policies & Notices.
