Course Description

For centuries, the stories of the women found in the Bible were not told. But that began to change once women were allowed to be theologians, Biblical scholars, and pastors. We will explore the likes of well-known women, Eve, Sarah, Ruth, Mary, and the women at the well. But also, to be examined, the ones not usually discussed: Tamar, Rabah, Dorcas and Lydia, and many more. Through readings, lectures, role play, and lively discussions, we will see how these women can give us insights to live our lives today.
