Course Description

We invite you to plan your own day and visit any of the numerous possibilities that await you. Most of the sites open at 10:00AM, so we are planning to arrive around that time. The bus will let us off on the Mall and then you are “on your own” to visit any of the attractions. Most of them are free, if there is an entry fee at the location you select, that cost will be your responsibility. Please plan to eat your lunch during your day. There are several museum eating spots. If you would like to bring your own lunch, please note some of the museums/galleries have restrictions regarding bringing in food/beverage. Please note that you will need to schedule your day to give you ample time to meet the bus at 3:00PM for our return home. (We will determine the buses departure location in the morning upon arrival.) We suggest that you research what sites are available, their locations, food options, etc. before you go. This is an “on your own” visit, we are providing transportation only!!
